Preparation Tips Before Embarking on the INSEAD MBA Journey

Just one more week to launch week! Looking back, it’s been a surreal journey. The first time I browsed through INSEAD’s website was in early 2019. After countless calls with alumni, essay preparations, and mock interviews, I finally got my notice of admission for the MBA Class of 22J. Now it is finally time to embark on this amazing journey, one that I certainly can’t be more excited for. Before that, I thought it would be useful to share some preparation tips that I have collected from seniors and alumni alike.

MIM Video Interview Tips

Many of you already know that soon after sending in your application for the MIM programme at INSEAD, you will receive a link to submit answers to four questions via a video interview. I wanted to share a couple of pieces of advice that you may find useful as you prepare for these interviews.

INSEAD EMBA Assessment Options

The INSEAD Executive MBA is an intensive programme with a rigorous curriculum. As part of the admissions process, you must take either the INSEAD Assessment, the GMAC Executive Assessment (EA) or the GMAT. All of these tests evaluate your academic aptitude, including quantitative and verbal skills. The application process will vary slightly depending on which test you choose:

My INSEAD journey started 12 months ago when I attended an information session conducted at the Singapore campus. My motivation at the time was to evaluate whether a Master's degree would help be a catalyst for my career.
