INSEAD’s leading Global Executive MBA programme (GEMBA) offers an unparalleled experience for senior executives looking to hone their general management skills with a focus on developing a unique leadership style that helps enable careers to progress further. The programme is delivered in a modular format across three fully integrated campuses: Europe (France), Asia (Singapore) and the Middle East (UAE) allowing participants to learn from each other and build a close-kint yet globally distributed network.
Five months into INSEAD GEMBA programme, I have been challenged from all aspects: academically, socially, personally, and professionally – all in terms of pushing me out my comfort zone and breaking those limiting boundaries. Things like managing priorities, researching, managing self and group work, engaging with wider audiences, looking inwards, and unlearning things that held me back are examples of enablers in this journey.
In spring of 2016, I created a folder in my personal files called “Project INSEAD” – which holds all what I need to know and do to apply for an MBA at INSEAD. With the momentum starting on building my application, it had to be halted mid-way for personal reasons, yet the idea of attaining my MBA never went away, in fact, it remained strong and engraved in my mind – as a component in a plan to achieve my career and personal aspirations.
