  1. A Year of Reinvention

It has been one year since the opening ceremony of the TIEMBA Class of 2022. Since then, six modules out of 10 have been completed. Currently, my cohort is planning how we will use our thesis projects to individually demonstrate all that we have taken away from the programme thus far.  The sixth module this past July gave us the opportunity to learn non-technical skills that are not related to a specific business field.

  2. GEMBA: A Fast-Paced Transformational Experience

I am now 10 months into the GEMBA journey, with only two more modules left to finish it off; and I can’t help but feel that it has gone so fast. Don’t get me wrong, these 10 months have really been a transformational experience; this programme makes you challenge yourself in every possible aspect, which not only made me grow as a better professional, but also as a better person.

  3. The Pioneers, the Believers and Those Who Make Miracles Out of Thin Air

"The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why." - Mark Twain At the Executive MBA level, the end of the Core Modules is like the midpoint in a full marathon. Although we are closer to the finishing line, we are still living with some uncertainties ahead of us.

  5. EMFIN: A Breath of Fresh Air

It is true that there is always a sense of triumph, achievement, and accomplishment when you reach the halfway mark and start taking steps into the last subsequent half. It gives momentum and confidence with the knowingness that the end is insight. INSEAD celebrated this milestone by offering a break from the gritty, demanding details of finance and presenting us with an opportunity to explore the significance of qualitative instruction.

  6. 4 Reasons Why I Chose the INSEAD MBA as an American

I lived in the US my whole life before landing in Paris three weeks ago to start my MBA programme at INSEAD’s campus in Fontainebleau, France. Some of my friends and coworkers back home in Los Angeles, California had a hard time understanding why I wasn’t interested in going to Stanford, UCLA, or any number of top business schools in sunny California or a short flight away.

  7. Preparation Tips Before Embarking on the INSEAD MBA Journey

Just one more week to launch week! Looking back, it’s been a surreal journey. The first time I browsed through INSEAD’s website was in early 2019. After countless calls with alumni, essay preparations, and mock interviews, I finally got my notice of admission for the MBA Class of 22J. Now it is finally time to embark on this amazing journey, one that I certainly can’t be more excited for. Before that, I thought it would be useful to share some preparation tips that I have collected from seniors and alumni alike.

  8. My MIM Journey: When Plans Change, You Need to Adapt

While I was nearing the end of the penultimate semester of my bachelor’s degree in early 2020, I was starting to plan my next steps. Write my bachelor thesis, finish my degree by late summer and then start an internship as a first step towards securing an entry-level position. After that I was planning to work for a few years and then maybe start an MBA. At least, that was the idea.

  9. A Toddler, A Pregnancy, and INSEAD

When I got accepted into INSEAD the first reaction I got when I told people, was “Who will take care of your child?” instead of “Congratulations! You can do it”. Then when I found out I was pregnant, and I chose not to defer, I was told all sorts of things, like “Think about your child, this is an impossible task, you cannot raise a toddler and be pregnant and do such an intense MBA, stop thinking you can do it all”.

  10. The Kindness, Understanding and Collaborative Spirit of Female Leadership

A year at INSEAD allowed me to reflect deeply about female leadership. From discussions inside the INSEAD classroom to the incredible seminars hosted by the Women in Business Club, discussions on female leadership and gender equality are abundant.
