Working in Groups

Cecily Liu

INSEAD MBA students are allocated into study groups, so that we may learn from each other, strengthen our teamwork skills, and use our collective intelligence to reach new heights. Study groups are a little like families - we sit together in class everyday, complete a significant amount of assignment together, and coach each other in our Personal Leadership Development Programme (PLDP) programme.

Working with diverse groupmates at INSEAD has encouraged me to think from different perspectives, question my assumptions and stay curious. The strong friendship and emotional bond we've developed has also given me courage to venture outside my comfort zone, to take risks, make mistakes and learn from them. I feel my groupmates are a mirror I use to understand myself better, I truly appreciate their honest feedback and my groupmates make me feel extremely supported on the INSEAD journey.
