Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

I once dressed up and danced to win a ukelele.

So why did you choose INSEAD, and why the INSEAD MBA in particular?

I was looking for a shorter programme that would still allow me to enjoy an international perspective. Additionally, my girlfriend was already admitted to the programme, so INSEAD made even more sense.

INSEAD is one of the most culturally and professionally diverse MBA programmes in the world. How do you see these global perspectives enhancing the value of your business education over the next year?

Diversity at INSEAD enhances the educational experience in many ways.

First, in an increasingly connected world, being more familiar with different cultures can make a difference. Second, the range of topics covered in class is larger, and discussions are more insightful. Last, career-wise it is always good to connect with diverse profiles.

What course, club or activity excites you the most at INSEAD?

I personally have been playing squash quite often, benefitting from the court in the Fontainebleau campus. Additionally, some of the talks and events organised by the PE & VC and Fintech & Blockchain clubs have been really interesting.

How did COVID-19 change your perspective on your career and your life in general?

In terms of career, due to COVID-19 I learned that working from home can be an option even for demanding jobs such as consulting. Therefore, I will probably be demanding hybrid ways of working going forward in my career.

What are your plans after graduation? Where do you intend to go, and what do you intend to do?

I am a sponsored student, so I will be returning to BCG Madrid as a consultant.

What advice would you give to help potential applicants gain admission into INSEAD’s MBA programme?

I would encourage them to take some time to reflect on their long-term career goals and understand what role the MBA will play to get there.

A genuine life project will always stand out, and you will be in a better position to make the most out of the programme.
