Midpoint Reflections: Chasing Legacy and Meaning at INSEAD
As I reach the midpoint of my INSEAD MIM journey, I find myself reflecting on an incredible experience that has unfolded over the past few months. From meeting hundreds of ambitious peers to tackling complex cases, every day at INSEAD has been a whirlwind of growth, learning, and opportunity—but I’m hungry for more.
The first half: transformative experiences at INSEAD MIM
During these months, the INSEAD Master in Management (MIM) programme has pushed me to explore uncharted territories, both academically and personally. From understanding the core principles of machine learning and optimisation in just five weeks with Prof. Georgina Hall—a professor who keeps the class captivated with her energy—to crafting a $13 billion deal to ‘sell’ Tiffany to LVMH with Prof. Laurence Capron, each moment has felt like a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.
Not to mention, presenting a marketing strategy for the Château de Fontainebleau at the very site itself with Rupali Kaul was another highlight. These immersive challenges are uniquely INSEAD, blending real-world applications with world-class instruction.
But it’s not just about the classes. It’s about leveraging every opportunity INSEAD offers to grow, contribute, and leave a legacy.
Making an impact beyond the classroom
INSEAD’s MIM programme is not just about academics; it’s about shaping the world. I’ve immersed myself in numerous extracurricular initiatives that aim to create meaningful impact:
- Climate run: Collaborating with Christelle Inacio and the INSEAD Hoffmann Institute for Business and Society to address the climate crisis.
- Global empowerment fund gala: Organising a major event with Audrey Cornolle and partnering with the Rural Support Programmes Network to uplift women in Pakistan.
- Robinhood fundraising campaign: Kicking off the MIM'26 campaign with Disha Kohli to make a measurable difference.
Additionally, I’ve taken on roles like producing the commencement movie, running the random dinners committee, leading the LEGACY campaign, and setting up the yearbook committee. These experiences have shaped me as a leader, collaborator, and changemaker.

The spirit of INSEAD MIM: collaboration and support
One of the most remarkable aspects of the INSEAD MIM programme is the support and camaraderie among students, faculty, and staff.
From my home group to my period groups, I’ve forged connections that go beyond professional networking. Special thanks go to Agata Chojnacka, Laura Jackson, Thibault Séguret, and the entire MIM office for their tireless efforts to make our journey extraordinary.
The dedication of the INSEAD advancement team, student life staff, and my fellow MIM students has made every moment memorable. Whether it was working until 2-3am in Doriot library or collaborating on group projects, I’ve felt the collective energy of a community striving to achieve greatness.

Looking ahead: The second half of the INSEAD MIM journey
As I dive into the second half of my MIM journey, I’m more determined than ever to make every moment count. INSEAD has already given me a platform to dream big, take risks, and create meaningful impact. Now, it’s up to me to push even further and make the most of the time I have left.
The INSEAD MIM programme is truly a transformative experience, preparing the next generation of global business leaders. I’m deeply grateful for the opportunities, challenges, and friendships that have defined this journey so far. Here’s to the next chapter—one full of growth, inspiration, and legacy.
