A Night of Visibility and Pride
On June 28th 2025, OUTsead launched its first-ever Global Gala. A bold new tradition that brought together 54 INSEADers from across generations and borders, spanning the Class of 1981 to 2025. Held in Paris during Pride Month, the sold-out event celebrated LGBTQ+ visibility, connection, and belonging.
The theme, “From One Visibility to Another,” paid tribute to queer expression in fashion and art and called for greater LGBTQ+ representation in economic and political spheres.
At a time when diversity is under pressure around the world, OUTsead Alumni chose to lead, turning this night into a beacon of pride, purpose, and visibility.

The evening opened with a powerful and personal speech from Georges El Nachef (MBA'19J), Chief of Staff at Dstny France and VP of OUTsead Alumni Engagement & Events, who reminded us that visibility is not a single moment but a lifelong journey. One that strengthened when we showed up and stood proud.
The keynote address was delivered by Marc-Antoine Barrois, one of France’s most celebrated couturiers. From his early days training under icons like Jean-Paul Gaultier to launching his own couture house in 2009, Marc shared a moving reflection on how authenticity, sustainability, and inclusion are the cornerstones of lasting impact.
The evening’s culinary experience was equally memorable. Guests enjoyed an immersive five-course menu created by ATICA, the culinary studio founded by Ramzi Saadé (INSEAD MBA’20J), as they went on a journey of bold, expressive flavours that perfectly matched the spirit of the night.
The event was brought to life by the leadership of the OUTsead Alumni Paris Chapter, which includes Romuald Guillard (MBA'17D, President), Marion Verborg (MBA'17D), and Georges El Nachef (MBA'19J), and is proudly supported by INSEAD, the French Alumni Association, and the OUTsead student club.
If this first edition is any indication,
the future of OUTsead Alumni will be bold, bright and proudly visible.
