Each class at INSEAD has a special day in which people dress up and attend different classes in costume! For the class of 19D, the day was sunny and wonderful for taking pictures with friends and to record how we laughed and had fun together. I learnt a key lesson at INSEAD during the past four months, and this lesson was emphasised again on Dash Day: do not take yourself too seriously, and people will take you seriously.

Well, that escalated quickly… It’s the last week of class here in P2 and we have our first finals in four days.  Somehow this period managed to fly without I or most of my classmates noticing.  I guess this is what they mean when they say time flies when you’re having “fun”.  I put fun in quotations because while this period was a blast, it was a stark contrast to Period 1.  Whereas in Period 1 almost every weekend was filled with adventures to new, exotic locales, Period 2 was when reality set in.  Summer internship recruiting started in a most inten

They say that you’re always running when you do an MBA. WRONG! At INSEAD, you DASH. With four months done in a 10+2-month program, you just can’t be okay with running. Apart from how everyone in this batch is brilliant in their own ways and lives, nothing else that I had thought about the course matched up to the reality - it superseded all my expectations. The courses, the assignments and the events are all happening at a breakneck speed.
