Could you share something unexpected or a fun fact about you?

I’m an avid skier. Skiing combines all the things I love, cold weather, snow, speed, sport and the freedom of the outdoors.

Tell us about yourself, and how you got to where you are today both on a professional and personal level?

Since childhood, I have aspired to live and work in an international environment as I am keen to explore the world and the various opportunities it offers. I have been fortunate that my journey working in a multinational company has enabled me to spend the past 18 years living and working outside of my home country, making my childhood dream come true.

I spent more than 20 years at P&G in different countries and in various regional and global roles. These experiences have given me both broad exposure and deep, hands-on experience across the full innovation lifecycle, from R&D and manufacturing to supply chain, market research and brand building.

What led you to decide to pursue an Executive MBA, and why did you choose INSEAD in particular?

I wanted to broaden my perspective beyond the FMCG industry and enrich my general management capabilities. On top of my prior business experience gained via on-the-job training, I sought to strengthen my business fundamentals in accounting, finance and economics in a more systematic and holistic way.

INSEAD stood out for its diversity, global presence and its focus on entrepreneurship combined with world-class academic rigour, a combination I was specifically looking for.

How would you describe your experience so far? What is your impression of the faculty, the curriculum, and your fellow participants?

I have been particularly impressed by how the faculty delivered the curriculum with a clear focus on building business intuition as a result of our solid learning of academic fundamentals. This is further complemented by the rich exchange of ideas with fellow participants from diverse industries and geographies who bring real-world perspectives into the learning experience.

From our programme kick-off, I was struck by the statement “INSEAD is not a school, it is an ecosystem.” In my experience so far, the combination of the strong alumni network, professional clubs and workshops, and the unique INSEAD spirit connects people together on and off campus. These elements create such a nurturing ecosystem that, in my personal journey, has helped me expand my horizon beyond my industry and inspired my next endeavour as an entrepreneur.

Can you share a little about your application process and what you found most helpful and challenging during your preparation

The admissions team was approachable and extremely helpful in assisting me in navigating the application process and requirements. Therefore, do approach them as early as you can. Finding time amidst busy professional commitments can sometimes be a challenge in fulfilling the INSEAD GEMBA application process and requirements well, but in my experience, being committed to the preparation will not only help you more clearly define your purpose but also serve as a good warm-up for your GEMBA programme, especially if you have left the academic world for quite a while.

What advice would you give to someone who might be interested in pursuing an INSEAD programme?

Try to define your purpose not only as a destination, but also as a professional transformation journey. Remember that what you get out of the GEMBA is what you put into it. A clear sense of purpose helps you navigate the programme’s intensity while balancing professional commitments and strategically engaging with the many learning opportunities, from professional clubs and workshops to a strong alumni network, so you can make the most of the GEMBA experience.
