INSEAD Master in Management Alexandre Rey

Alexandre Rey
Previous degree: Master of Engineering, University of Bristol
Mauritian, French

Born and brought up in Mauritius, Alexandre was keen to engage in a field that could address today’s global challenges and decided to enroll in an Engineering degree in the UK.

"However, I began to realise that achieving technological goals often depends on the resources available, which are governed by demand, returns, and financial sustainability—in short, by business laws", he shares. "I was eager to learn more. Since I was still young and ready to continue my academic momentum, I decided to embark on the MIM journey!"

INSEAD Master in Management Nathan Tops

Nathan Tops
Previous degree: MSc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology, KU Leuven
Belgian

Nathan comes from a small town near Brussels, Belgium, and pursued a degree in biotechnology.

"I developed a clear goal of contributing to the biotech investment landscape, with a focus on early- and mid-stage biotech start-ups", he says.

"However, coming from a scientific background, I lacked financial and managerial education, both of which are crucial in biotech investing. I also want to bridge the gap between Western and Asian biotech/healthcare ecosystems. I aspire to be the person connecting these ecosystems, and INSEAD provides the ideal platform for that."
