TIEMBA Class of 2020: ‘I Am Strong, When I Am on Your Shoulders…’
June 2018: 44 students from 18 countries forming the TIEMBA class of 2020 got together at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University, to start a two-year study journey. Though we all have different backgrounds, speak different languages, and have a different set of expertise, we embrace our differences, and we learn to grow together. Our hearts are connected.
2018年6月，来自18个国家/地区的44位EMBA国际班2018级（TIEMBA2020）学生相聚在清华大学经济管理学院并开始了2年的学习之旅。虽然我们在不同的环境长大，说着不同的语言，有不同的专业背景，但是我们拥抱差异，心灵相连，共同成长。
When COVID-19 broke out in China, many of our classmates donated money via the alumni associations of the two schools to support hospitals in Wuhan and to support China.
When COVID-19 became a global pandemic, our hearts broke every time a new country escalated to dangerous levels because our classmates and our loved ones were affected - in China, Korea, Japan, France, Germany, Singapore, Israel, Australia, South Africa.
We are one small family and family always support and help each other.
当新冠病毒在中国爆发时，我们来自世界各地的同学通过个人或两校校友会捐款，支持武汉、支持中国。当新冠病毒成为全球大流行病时，每当有一个新的国家升级到危险水平时，我们都会揪心担心因为我们同学和亲人可能会有危险，在中国，韩国，日本，法国，德国，新加坡，以色列，澳大利亚，南非，等等。
我们是一个小家庭，而家庭总是互相支持、互相帮助。“云海荡朝日，春色任天涯”
During this special period, we want to devote our TIEMBA 2020 video made during the spring of 2019 “You Raise Me Up” (Original singer: Brain Kenned) in tribute to the healthcare workers and unsung heroes around the world who keep the world running during these difficult times.

To all the TIEMBA20ers and TIEMBA alumni, though miles may lie between us, we're never far apart. Love is measured by the heart. Family always help each other. Stay safe and healthy!
