Early on in my career, I had always dreamed about pursuing an MBA at a top-ranked university. INSEAD had always been on my radar, but over the course of my experience I became more interested in Finance rather than general management and wanted to continue growing my career within that field.
Our Executive Master in Finance (EMFin) Class of 2022 participants started their first module recently from all over the world – on campus and online. We caught up with a few of them to find out how their first module worked out, what propelled them to embark on the EMFin amidst the COVID-19 climate and some advice they would share with people out there who are considering the EMFin programme.
Joining the INSEAD Executive Masters in Finance (EMFin) programme marks a significant milestone for me. Despite embarking on my EMFin journey under the shadows of a global pandemic, the experience for Module 1 still turned out to be thoroughly enriching and satisfying.
INSEAD’s Executive Master in Finance first module for the Class of February 2022 finished on the last Saturday in September. Looking at how the previous two weeks before exams went, I cannot but only reinforce the idea that I made the right decision when decided to apply for the programme.
For better or for worse, 2020 goes down in the history books as a watershed year. The global trade tensions, Hong Kong unrest, Black Lives Matter demonstrations, and of course, COVID-19 are set to alter the nature of work as we know it, and we are only half way through the year!
