Tell me a fun fact about yourself!

I love puns and plays-on-words and am constantly throwing them at my classmates. We even created a pun WhatsApp group

What were you doing before you joined INSEAD?

Growing up and finishing high school in the beautiful city of Vienna, after finishing high school, I wanted to stay a few more years in Austria’s capital and decided to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics at Vienna University of Economics and Business. The programme’s international approach and culturally diverse student body taught me a lot about the importance of a global perspective and encouraged me to collect professional experiences across the globe. More specifically, I have worked in different countries and industries from consulting to pro-bono and even entrepreneurship with my own start-up while spending my free time on the tennis court or in my Audi A3 doing road trips through Europe.

And can you tell me why you decided to apply for the MIM? What are your goals post-MIM?

My long-term personal goal is to have a tangible impact on our society throughout my professional career – sounds cheesy but it is exactly this approach that truly drives me.

To be able to do so, I need a vast personal network I can fully rely on, a practice-proven leadership mindset and a comprehensive global perspective. As all of these aspects are exactly what INSEAD stands for it was self-evident for me to go there and pursue a MIM.

It’s been a whirlwind first few months, how has everything been going? Memorable moments so far? First impressions, in one sentence?

Countless unforgettable moments, in fact, too many to list them here – best summarised by “gratitude for having been given the chance to take this journey”.

What are you most looking forward to during the rest of the programme?

Our MIM-organised “Funds For Good” gala in January 2022 as well as studying in Singapore in P4 and P5.

Any tips for anyone who might be interested in pursuing a MIM in the future?

That is what INSEAD builds on.

Parting words of wisdom?

Start looking for accommodation as soon as you get an offer. Apart from that, enjoy your INSEAD experience as it really is “la kiffance” (French for: feeling of joy).
