Tell us a little bit about yourself and why you decided to embark upon the INSEAD MIM programme?

I love exploring and enjoy cultural exchanges, so diversity is one of the biggest reasons why I choose INSEAD. INSEAD also really values people and connections, which I could feel from the special alumni interview and lovely offer call during my application process.

It’s been a few months since you started, in fact, you’ve begun the second ‘leg’ of the journey in Singapore. How does it feel?

Time flies! After seven months of “crazy” life in Fontainebleau and a one-week exotic experience in the Middle East, I finally arrived in Singapore. For me, I feel like Singapore is home in a way because my hometown is quite similar in terms of the climate, the culture and the food. But I’m already feeling a bit sad as we start to count down the days that we have left together during the programme.

Anything in particular you are surprised about regarding the curriculum, the professors, the quality of the teaching, your classmates?

To be honest, as a non-business student during undergraduate studies, I felt overwhelmed at the beginning of the programme regarding the curriculum, as it is very intense, and everything was new for me.

But all the professors and classmates are so kind and patient and had no trouble helping me. In particular, I was surprised by the fact that INSEAD professors not only know their own teaching contents, but also are familiar with what their colleagues do. Our professors communicate and make our curriculum more integrated.

If you had to do it all over again, would you?

Yes. Going for the INSEAD MIM was one of the best decisions that I made. The 10 months at INSEAD will give me lifelong memories.

Lastly, can you share any tips or advice for anybody who would be interested in pursuing a MIM in the future?

Go for it, enjoy it!

Final words of wisdom?

Connection, Contribution, Conviviality.
