With such an intense and diverse calendar of activities at INSEAD, I managed to get to know myself better.

Why did you choose the INSEAD MBA?
Although I had considered other programmes, I chose the INSEAD MBA for two main reasons: Firstly, its one-year timeline offered a unique value-for-money opportunity. Secondly, it provided a truly global experience through the campus exchange programme, which meant I would have the opportunity to take classes at both the Singapore and the Fontainebleau campuses.
Did the programme meet your expectations?
I can say that INSEAD has exceeded my expectations. The pace was much faster and busier than I ever expected, plus, I have grown in more ways than I can count. I also had the opportunity to meet people from all around the world and many who I can say have become lifelong friends.
How was your campus exchange experience at INSEAD?
It was a very interesting experience, as students have very different lifestyles in the two campuses. I still have a clear favourite, but I believe experiencing both campuses added value to my year.
What are your thoughts on the curriculum, faculty and class experiences?
I was very impressed with the curriculum, faculty and class experiences. The curriculum was incredibly diverse so students could expand their knowledge in whatever topic that was most relevant to them. For example, you could choose to focus on Finance and Strategy or Entrepreneurship and Social Impact. The faculty and student body’s diverse cultures and professions led to enriching class discussions and a comprehensive learning experience.
How has the MBA helped you in your career?
Since the MBA was sponsored, I have since I returned to BCG and to the same office. I believe the MBA has highly improved the way I work, by helping me develop skills such as prioritisation and time management. With such an intense and diverse calendar of activities at INSEAD, I managed to get to know myself better in terms of my preferences and priorities in life. I feel like I am a more focused and balanced professional now.
How has the Career Development Centre (CDC) helped you?
Having a dedicated Career Advisor helped me reflect on both my career path and long-term goals. The CDC also taught me how to better leverage INSEAD's network and tools in order to achieve my goals.
What are your plans for the next five years?
For the time being, I intend to remain at BCG as long as I feel I'm learning and growing professionally. I hope to start specialising in industries I have more interest in and gain experience in new geographies, such as Latin America and the US.
What advice would you give potential prospects who are interested in the INSEAD MBA?
The most important piece of advice I have for potential prospects is that they should do their research and talk to alumni from the MBA programme, so that they can fully understand and decide if the experience will suit their goals and expectations.
