So, what made you decide to pursue an EMBA, and why did you choose INSEAD?

I wanted to develop my leadership skills, to acquire the knowledge to run a business and make it successful. I have been in leadership positions for years but had no background to help me with that. I was beginning to feel my limits and an Executive MBA was the obvious solution for me to both acquire a theoretical background and apply it.

I chose INSEAD because I wanted a first-class EMBA school, one that trains leaders who work in international contexts.

If you were to describe your experience in one sentence, what would it be?

To progress both personally and professionally in 12 months of training as I did in 12 years by myself.

Has the EMBA helped you in your career so far?

Yes, it has! Because the EMBA trains us to be excellent leaders, I have already been able to improve with my teams, my clients and in my collaboration with the Co-CEOs of my company.

Taking the EMBA is also an opportunity to look at your career from a different perspective. The EMBA has helped me to refine my goals for my future career.

What are your thoughts about the multi-campus experience?

I chose INSEAD because it is the EMBA that offers the most international experience, both in terms of the number of nationalities represented in the cohort, but also because of the multi-campus experience offered throughout the course.

Could you tell us more about the Leadership Development Programme experience?

The Leadership Development Programme is an incredible asset of the INSEAD EMBA.

The LDP is the main reason why the EMBA makes us so much better as human beings.

The mix of group and individual coaching creates an even richer experience. We can rely on the help and insight of four different, complementary people on our development path.

What advice would you give to someone who might be interested in pursuing an INSEAD Masters programme?

Believe in yourself and stay open. There is more to learn than theoretical knowledge, more to experience than practical cases to apply. Be ready for change, ready for a year of the most rewarding marathon imaginable.
