By the third year of my undergraduate degree in Engineering, I knew I wanted to do business. I didn’t know what exactly business meant, but I did know that I found my internships in commercial and business development teams absolutely fascinating. During my undergraduate studies, I had the chance to spend one semester in Singapore in 2018. Every day, I would pass by INSEAD’s campus, and would tell myself: “Someday, I will be part of the INSEAD community”. At the time, the MIM programme had not been announced yet. Fast forward to June 2019, I read online that INSEAD was launching its pioneering MIM programme.

Coming back from a six-month exchange in Australia and a six-month internship with Clarins in New York as a 2018 Warwick Business school student, I still wasn’t certain about what I would do after graduation. Unsure of the path to take, I decided that applying to a Master’s degree would give me an additional edge as well as more time to make up my mind, gather more information on different opportunities, and become more competitive in a world where most people have Master’s degrees.
