Can you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

I like parties.

So, what made you decide to pursue an EMBA, and why did you choose INSEAD?

Working for the most prominent mining organisation in the world, combined with my cross-cultural exposure and international outlook, has cultivated a great sense of potential and encouraged me to aim high.

Additionally, my unwavering desire to broaden my horizons, pursue new learning opportunities and unleash my leadership potential guided me to the only world-class business school that could boost my professional and emotional development and stand out from the crowd.

If you were to describe your experience in one sentence, what would it be?

This experience is transmuting me to a better version of myself.

Has the EMBA helped you in your career so far?

Absolutely! My mindset has completely shifted. Understanding team dynamics and organisational culture, cultivating a corporate holistic perspective and researching and analysing data to strategically make better-informed business decisions are among the skills I have developed.

On top of this, before I started the course, I targeted a specific role upon its completion. I achieved it six months after the commencement of the GEMBA.

What are your thoughts about the multi-campus experience?

The interaction with a remarkably diverse cohort across the Fontainebleau, Abu Dhabi and Singapore campuses has been a learning process. The networking sessions, starting before the official commencement of the course, provide an opportunity for fruitful and insightful discussions among the candidates.

The opportunity to attend classes on three campuses and four more locations worldwide is one of the reasons INSEAD’s graduates are international calibre professionals.

Could you tell us more about the Leadership Development Programme experience?

My first experience with the LDP was overwhelming. I had to think and discover answers to questions I had never considered before. The LDP prompts me to create greater personal awareness, align my blockers and drivers with my aspirations, and challenge my assumptions. So far, I have been an intense and stimulating experience!

What advice would you give to someone who might be interested in pursuing an INSEAD Masters programme?

If you want to pursue new learning opportunities, mature mentally and emotionally, with in-depth self-awareness and the feeling of accomplishment through a life-changing achievement, join INSEAD.
