Letter to My Younger Self

It's 9 PM and I'm winding down for the night when my phone buzzes with a LinkedIn notification. "Any tips for me? I'm about to start my year at INSEAD soon," a message in my inbox reads. It's a message from an INSEAD MBA admit.I start to type a quick reply but then pause. This deserves more than a quick response. So, the next morning, I crafted a note that then inspired me to reflect on what advice would I give to my younger self if I were to step into this adventure all over again.Dear Younger Anna,

Inside INSEAD: First Review

As of August of 2023, I began my term at INSEAD for my MBA after a gap of over seven years since I’d last sat in a class in any form of academic pursuit. I won’t lie, it was an extremely daunting task and I’ve doubted the wisdom of my decision more times than I’d like to admit. But at this point, sitting back home enjoying my term break and having reflected a lot about the past two terms, I realised there’s no better way to record my findings apart from writing them down.

A Typical Thursday for Our INSEAD MIM Student

I caught up with a current Master in Management student and asked him to share his student experience in the INSEAD MIM right now!  Meet Cesar and get a feel for a typical MIM day: Hi! My name is Cesar Beulen. I am a Belgian student enrolled in the MIM’24 programme, and I would like to share an average day as an INSEAD MIM’24 student! Today is a Thursday, which means no classes today!

Fontainebleau Footnotes: Unravelling the Magic of INSEAD MBA’s Beginning

These past three months in the little town of Fontainebleau have been a whirlwind. Interestingly, it's only been five weeks since we began our MBA classes, yet it feels like five months have passed. This sentiment is not uncommon at INSEAD. If there's anything that INSEAD makes you realise, it's the value of time, compelling you to hone in on what truly matters. An often-cited metaphor is that absorbing the wealth of knowledge and experience here is like trying to drink water from a firehose; the flow truly is intense and unyielding.

Reflections on the INSEAD MIM

At the beginning of P5, the last period in the INSEAD MIM curriculum, I wrote the below editorial for our weekly MIM newsletter. As we approached the end of the programme, I felt inspired to give a huge shoutout to each and every one of my classmates. After all, INSEAD is known for its intense, yet incredible MIM programme and we had aced it so incredibly well together!   1. #BestYear
